Similar to what i had. My car was dyno'd immediately after being on the freeway for an hour. So heat soak coulda played a part. This is me stock. Once i get my mugen exhaust and j's header installed, i'll go back for another pull.

My MY01 dynoed the same as your 05 with just 4IGs Intake

 

if there is a local dyno day later in the fall, i might go dyno someplace else to compare

 

how many miles on the odo... ? i see that was asked, and not answered hehe. any ap2 with less than 3500 miles, will not beat a cleanly driven miata. trust me on this, i own one, and have 2 friends now who have gone through intimate break-ins, and one is now over 3500 miles, one just cleared 1200 miles, and the difference is amazing. they both are astonished at the difference. wait a few more miles, and drive that sucker HARD. then go dyno, i mean, make 20 passes from 1st through fifth, at WOT. then dyno after. the computer will be memorized to that drive curve. lates dave

i've had the car for 3 days before i dynoed it so not many miles

i'm not really a believer in a break in period

i'm sure it might pick up 2-5hp after a few miles but i wanted to see if i would pick up any hp from a catback which is going on this week

 

thats sounds about right not many ppl hit 200 on the dyno

 

so I get a call from the dealer today saying they gave me the wrong S2000. Apparently, they did the paperwork on the other silver one on their lot.

So I go in and trade cars and take this one straight to the dyno.
This one put down 202rwhp.

It made 3-4hp less all the way to vtec and then made 4-6rwhp more than the other one all the way from 6-8k rpm.
