True, just be sure there isn't another law specific to earplugs.

Also, you not only have to look at state law but local as well.

 

You have such a guilty until proven innocent look at this....

Live life free as a bird and how you want, if someone gives you sh1t about it (police or whoever it may be) then search the truth. Don't spend your time reading laws to find out if it's legal to chew gum while driving a car....
