I have noticed some strange electrical problems in my 04. The most annoying is that the key in the ignition warning goes off with the door open even when the key is removed. It probably happens a couple times a week. To stop it, I have to put the key in turn it, then turn it back. The other is the drivers window. When I press both to go up, the passenger's will, but not the driver side. This is rather annoying since I have had Hondas all my life and never had problems like this.

Has anyone else experienced these types of things? Both happen intermittently so I have no idea how I can get the dealer to fix it. I will be installing an alarm soon, so if I can resolve this, I would like to do it first since I know they will just blame it on the alarm after the fact. Thanks

 

You're right, the dealership would try to blame the alarm on those problems. I'd be sure to let the dealership know about it now, so they at least can have the complaint documented.
