Default encountering problems from lowering

I'm currently riding on buddyclub racing spec dampers. I was just tweaking my ride height the other day while i was working on removing my swaybar, which i had finally takened it out thanks to everyone's help here.

I had no problem adjusting the ride hieght on the rear, but when i took off the front wheel and attempt to adjust the front. The contol arm seem to limit how low the perch can go.

If the perch goes too low, it will get blocked by the top of the control arm in going further down. Now my perch is sitting as low as it can sit just right above the control arm. What should i do?

sorry for the poor diagram.

are you on pillowballs or the factory rubber uppers? i think that some have found that when using the pillowballs, the spring perch/collar is close to the control arm. i'm using the rubber upper and can tuck the tire and not contact anything.

i'm using pillowball, so does that mean my ride height is limited and there's no helping to it?
