I get this occasional (twice this week) engine miss starting in 6th gear on freeway -- it really craps out. I then get away from traffic on a surface street, run it through 1st and 2nd to 9k and it's immediately fine -- the problem is gone. I had my mechanic test drive the stook and he couldn't find anything (naturally!). He asked me what kind of gas I used. I said Shell. He just shrugged his shoulders (in a professional way, of course). Any ideas out there fellow stookers?

 

Possibly the MAP sensor. Do a search and you will find discussion.
