Does the 2000 S2K have Electronic Power Steering? I read it in the 2001 users manual. One thing I did not know about the S.

Yes it does. It was in the MY2000 S. The got rid of the hydrolic line for a lighter electronic one.

Don't think weight had anything to do with it. The Electronic Power Steering doesn't require a hydraulic pump, hence no power robbing belt to drive the pump.

Yea that too! extra 10~ hp! Though it takes extra power to drive it from the alternator but not nearly what it is to drive the pump.
