Default Eps on!

Help guys. My eps light came on afew days ago, read about if u drive it a mile or so that the power steering might kick back in but mine hasn't looked at afew things but nothing seems wrong! Took it to Honda today and they looked at it for 30min but still couldn't find a problem!! They said they would need the car for 3/4hours at a rate of £90 a hour!!

Can anyone give advise on what to look for? Don't really wanna have to fork out so much money unless the problem can't be solved.

Do you get only the EPS light on? I mean, do you actually feel the steering heavier now or not?

Meanwhile, have a look in these threads...

Go buy an OBD2 scanner, it will save you lots of problems in the future.
