Default EPS Torque Reset Procedure!!!

Hello Guys, It took me a while to figure out why my steering was heavier than most S2K's untill I did a search on this board. My battery was disconnected for a fair amount of time and the steering hasn't been the same. I want to reset the Steering myself but don't know how.

I am competent when it comes to Honda/Acura vehicle's so can somebody lead me in the right direction? I checked all old topics and did not find the exact procedure.

Thanks

It is in the Helms manual section 17-x. I have one of the active thread on this topic. If I had one I would post it, but I need it posted too.

Some how does your wheel feel anyway?

This might be a dumb question to ask but have you also check your tire pressures?

It just feels like I have no power steering. The wheel also doesn't center after I make a left or right turn. Not a huge problem, the car is drivable and feels fine, just tiring to drive.

Have checked the #33 fuse (70A) in the auxillary under-hood fuse box to see if it has blown? This fuse box is located on the left fender wall. This fuse powers the EPS controller.

I just had an alignment and my steering wheel feels the same way, though I doubt my problem is the same as all of yours. Did any of you notice any change in handling?
