Default Espelir springs

Mods--sorry if this is in the wrong forum, please move it if it is...

I put on espelir springs on about 2 months ago. Will I eventually need to get shocks, spacers, etc. or should I be fine with just the springs?

I am already hearing a rubbing noise when i break, on the right rear wheel, and although I can't be sure it is due to the springs, at this point I believe it is. Any suggestions?

eventually, you will need new shocks since they dont last forever. i've heard of a few people running stock shocks for a year or 2 with no problems. just depends on how you drive and the road conditions.

I was on Eibachs for less then a year with stock shocks when they failed. I then swapped to Espelirs and Koni shocks afterwards. Driving conditions and distance traveled can only dictate the life. Got any more details about the sound you are hearing? what speeds is this happening at?

I drove with my espelir springs on stock shocks for a while. Never had a problem. I never had the rubbing noise either. Do you have bigger rims?

Seeing that you have an AP1, it's very likely your OEM shocks have called it quits.

I ran Espelirs with OEM shocks on my AP2 for 6-8 months and never has issues.

As for rubbing, you obviously have aftermarket wheels because with OEM offsets you wouldn't rub regardless. Check your tires size/rim size/offets and post those.
