Outside S2kI, I probably know a half dozen Evo owners and a half dozen S2000 owers. The only consistent difference I see is in their preference in cars. A douch is a douch, no matter what he's driving, and thankfully, I don't seem to run into many people who fall into that catagory.

Except for some here on S2kI, I have *never* had an Evo owner badmouth my car. In fact, every time I meet somebody with an Evo, they end up begging for a ride in the S2000. The last Evo owner who went for a ride was a guy named Latief; Afterward he said, "Thanks for making a dream come true."

Apparently the car croud in this area is a lot smarter and more civilized than in the areas where most of you live. We never have the kind of hate and trash talk you guys grumble about all the time.

Apparently so.

In my area most TURBO AWD junkies thinks theyre the shit. hehe
But then after getting smoked by a Turbo FWD Civic hatch, they tend to shut up. lol
Boosted Civics are all over the place nowadays..

I Love my HONDA.

LOL, yea, boosted Civics are everywhere, and CCR probably did half the engine swaps and turbo installs in this area.

You know, it doesn't bother me if some kid in a quick Civic can blow my doors off, because no matter how fast a Civic is, it's still a Civic.

Four years ago, when CCR was being run out of Tripper Cooks garage, most of the guys (in the CCR group) were into the AWD Skyline GTRs. Now we're down to just one GTR, and it's probably not going to be around much longer. Everyone in our litle group has gone back to RWD.

We do have frequent discussions about the virtues of various cars, but fortunately I never see the kind of hate in the real world that we see on the Web, and it's just as well.
