Not to violate any posting rules here, but see my group buy. I've developed and tested a kit for the car. In addition, I am a dealer for Quiet car, and can beat the website price. I can also answer the questions asked here, because everything was instrumented. There are real numbers and correlated results. Thanks

The title of the topic is "excellent and inexpensive soundproofing", I know you want to plug your "product", and though it may work well, at pricing over half a grand, plus labor, it is hardly inexpensive.

I don't mean to be disrespectful, but please direct all correspondence or questions with chipperman's product to his site. Thanks.

No offense taken at all. Price is in the eye of the beholder. I am not trying to steal your thunder, but I've got documented results, and...a little more R&D time. There is a lot more to the equation. I don't sell partial components because is doesn't address the whole thing. But, I can still be "more inexpensive" if you wish to use only QC. It's kind of like painting without primer...works for a while, but not thecomplete package. I'm glad you like their product; it is one of the best out there. Mike Bryant

crockey, the invidia is a tough beast to tame. I did the trunk, spare tire area & a lot of the underside of the car, but the invidia still comes through. It is better, especially with the siliencers in, but you might want to take out the seats & carpet to try to tame the beast.

If you do the seats/carpets let me know how it works out.

Thanks!
Tom

Sounds like an interesting product. My car is quiet enough, but my GF's Smart Roadster (all that thin plastic) could do with some sound deadening. It's also easy to pull apart, so I might look into buying a gallon or two and applying a layer of the stuff

Let's hope the yahoo store ships overseas...

If they do not ship oversea, you may like to contact chipperman, he is a dealer for Quietcar too. You may want to buy 2 gallons to save shiping cost.
I used almost one gallon just to cover the trunk, spare tyre well and the panel under the soft top with 3 coats. So far, the car seems to be much quieter at highway speed with top up.
I may need to buy another gallon to do the floorpan and rear wheel wells.
