so my05 has an exhaust leak, its right by the cat, next to the flange, it looks like there is a perfect round split all the way around. there is black sut all over the flange too.

what should i expect of a warranty job... weld, or totally new exhaust?

 

they will give u a new exhaust because the dealer doesnt weld. and its cheap for them just to replace it.
