The group buy started in August and has kept going beyond the original 15 people.

Probably the most widly done mod, after the K&N, and a good bang-for-the-buck.

You can still get the special price by calling or e-mailing Jim at ProFlow Design:

Here is the response I received from Jim today if anybody else is interested in joining.

You can certainly join the group buy, and send yours in ahead of the list as
many others have. Price for the group buy is $124 plus $12 for shipping.
You can go ahead and ship at any time, just be sure to put your name,
address and phone inside the package with the throttle body.

You can call us to provide the payment info.

Thanks,
Jim

I'll chime in here, too...

RT and Jim (of Proflow) installed the throttle body in my car a few weeks ago. Thanks again guys!

I too had problems with high idle, until Jim and RT put a different TB in. Their opinion was that the problems were caused by an imperfect seal on the first one. You can check for this by holding your new TB up to the light; very little light should be visible around the butterfly.

I'm very happy with my experience with Proflow. There is additional power and faster throttle response; nothing huge, but noticeable. This is a very good mod in terms of power per $. I also enjoyed meeting RT and Jim; great guys!

Ted

for my install pictures.

Does this mod void the warranty?
Which mods do not void the warranty?

Void the warrenty of what?

There is no magic screw that takes apart everything.

I can't imagine the dealer refusing to fix/replace something becuase of a TB, but you never know... Some dealers are just assholes.

But it you try to take it in for rough idle problems after the TB, chances are you are SOL.

So what do you do while your throttle body is out being worked on? What is the turn around?
