Default Extended Warranty

Im just curious of what the Extended Warranty actually covers for you, without giving you the run around. Has anyone ever had a good experience with using the extended warranty? I only see bad threads about it...What sucks is that I paid the extra money for it an i dont think i can refund it, an if i can is it worth it?

Thanx in advance guys

Those extended warraties sucks ball or maybe there are just bad extended warranty companies.
My father bought a extended warranty for his avalanche, and when he had to do a engine related repairs, they only covered less than 1/2 of the labor charge of inspection not the actual repair and as far as the part, they sent differencial unit from junk yard and a driveshaft.
Oh did i mention that it was PITA to get them work on it?

Yes ,you can get it reimbersed, less the penalty they will charge. You get it done through the dealer if they sold it to you. lol

I have so far. My master cylinder was leaking and they replaced the whole thing. No hassles at all.

first of all this thread is full of misconception....
when you purchase an extended warranty through the dealership please make sure you find out which company is covering your vehicle. That being said Honda Care is the one that AHM mainly promotes and they have several packages that range in coverage from just drivetrain to bumper to bumper. Now if it is not a Honda Care program then the coverage and outline of the warranty can only be found through the selling dealership as they are third party insurance companies and usually they don't cover shit so I wouldn't recommend any of these. As for Honda Care you have the option of getting what you want covered and pricing does vary dealer to dealer so get yourself a good deal.
