Red face F20C into Ae86 Project...

Hopefully this isn't a repost, but there is this guy that sure does a hell of a lot of talking. I love how he says, based upon getting a AEM ems, he can get 260hp.. Ummm, no...

and i quote..

"it's also making 260hp thanks to the AEM EMS, exhaust, and a cold air intake setup"

Is this worth pursuing?

he could expect to make upwards of 240-250whp with an EMS, bolt ons, and tuning. there are people who have made around 230-240whp with bolt ons and a VAFC.

I've been watching him on h-t for a while, I'm pretty sure he means 260hp at the flywheel not whp. He actually knows his stuff, and has built a very clean 86

When the initial swap is done, the car should be somewhere around 250-260 flywheel hp, and weigh in at just under 1800lbs. Once I get into a little more modding and tuning the EMS, I should be around 270 or so. Sounds like fun to me
he posted that on page 1...

1800lbs? I doubt that though, mine's around 2200lbs. I can't see where he's stripping 400lbs from the car. But even still, 2200lbs with 260 flywheel hp will be interesting.

Oh if he's talking 260 flywheel hp that is MORE than attainable, no problem.
