f22c by Yamaha?
Yeah, I find it hard to imagine that Honda of all companies would hire yamaha to help design a motor. They are rivals in the bike market. If yamaha had even touched anything on the motor, it would have been the head.

Yamaha built the 2ZZ-GE in the last Celica GT-S but I highly doubt Honda would contract out anything on the F20C or F22C. Especially a cast item like the block which, correct me if I am wrong, was derived from an older Accord block. Yamaha engineers are very good with airflow and high rpm engine dynamics because of their involvement in motorcycles. Honda competes with Yamaha in that motorcycle industry and would be corporate suicide to admit a defeat like that.
