I thought our F20C shared things like the bore spacing and maybe some similar dimensions in the block casting with the older Fs. I don't think anything in the head would be used do to the different needs with the motors and the switch to chain driven cams. The rotating assembly also uses different materials to cope with high RPMs.

You are correct that Toyota owns Denso but Toyota only holds a 4.37% stake in Yamaha, hardly a controlling portion.
