f22c by Yamaha?

yes, i realize that toyota and Yamaha have had a great history starting with the 18rg from the late '60s, but to find it on a honda sounded weird to me as well. friend swears up and down thought hat it was there....someone crack open a block and look!

btw the cluster in my 02 accord was build by ford, that pretty much explain why mine stopped working before 40 k

I think you're referring to the F20B? That was an accord engine, but the F20C is not based on it. Totally different. the F20B is more like a H22.

The K series is based on the F20C, though.

The star-shaped mark you often see in castings to help determine time and date was likely confused for the Yamaha symbol. They look similar in lots of ways.

what is your source?

the f20c was indeed based on the f20b accord engine.

source is a guy that is building/working on my '05 f22c...i trust him obviously

the case of casting mark being mistaken for the "star" yamaha symbol makes since though

Yea!!!!.. Accord F series got nothing on S2000 F series. Just maybe share the same code does not mean it the same!!!! matter of fact they are totally different breed of heart on totally different breed of animal. haaha
