Hello everyone,

I'm new to the board and may be a new S2000 owner soon (weekend and track car duty). I believe I can pick up a Suzuka Blue 02 S2000 from a local Jaguar dealer. Came in as a trade in recently. Car has 41,000 miles. I can pick it up for $18,500.

I'm fairly confident that is a good price but wanted to throw it out there for comment just in case. Although I would prefer a silver with red leather combo...this may be too good of a deal to pass up. Any thoughts?

you can do better. dealer auctions for 02 lease returns with <30k miles are 18-19k.

i forgot to mention these are west coast prices too. so they are prob cheaper in the east coast, central, and cali where there are a lot of returns.

 

kbb TRADE IN (aka dumping) prices are $18K.

since you are on the buy side and WANT the car, 18500 is EXCELLENT.

 

Thanks for the responses guys. Although I prefer the silver/red combination. I may have to take the plunge since the blue/blue is my second choice.

WTF an 02 for 18.5 AND AT A DEalrship??!!?? I dont know thats like a great price to me if only it was in silver id swoop that up when you are at your comp still thinking about price hahaha. Late good luck with that
