That was fast...Saying goodbye to the S in a few days
Recently I came across an opportunity to buy one of my dream cars...The deal and the timing were right, but I had to let go of the S2K to make it happen. I thought about just keeping it and buying the new car outright but that means kicking the wife's car out of the garage (lol fat chance there) and between the new car, the GT350 and the RS I might get to drive the S once or twice a month (or even year). Seems like a waste...This car should be driven and enjoyed.
I'll really miss the little thing, even though I only had it 5 months. It's a great car and whoever buys it hopefully enjoys it. I got it pretty much back to 100% (wasn't far off to begin with), and it's always been a head turner.
I don't have pictures of the new car yet, the car is going to shipped out here from North Carolina. Then they're taking the S2K back with them. It'll be sad to see it go, but I'm really excited about the new car, I've always wanted one. It's a 2004 Mustang Cobra Convertible - in Mystichrome, 22k miles, all stock (but comes with about 5K in mod parts), one of 495 built. Not the rarest color (that would be competition orange, with only 72 convertibles built in that color) but I think by far the most unique. It's a 1 owner car and according to those who have seen it, is in mint condition.
Thanks to all on this forum. I've learned a lot here, and came to appreciate the Honda quite a bit. I can't say if I'll ever be back in ownership of one, the car I'm buying will be with me a long, long time if I can help it.
