Ok If ya like heavily wooded really tight twisty back roads...try splitrock road up in Boonton twp. This road leads to a bunch of tight deeply wooded roads that carve through boonton twp and rockaway boro.
Better at night because you can see other cars coming with there headlights on the overhead wires....to tight of a road to run real fast at day time but at night dam..........Its crazy. Also there is a road in booton twp that leads to kinnelon and route 23. It starts where i think diamond spring road and powerville road intersect. They intersect at a palce called 4 corners. Take this road about 5 or 6 miles all the way to 23 it is great deep wooded curved road but more open than splitrock. Can hit some really high speeds...It also has cat eyes in the road which make night driving a blast.
all these are in northern NJ.

Scottsboro, AL to Desoto Park to Cloudland to Somerville to Adairsville, GA

The only route worth taking if going to Atlanta, GA from Huntsville, AL.

It's a mountain road with lots of twists, but also with some very nice passing opportunities. I've taken it on 2 roundtrips so far and it's a serious rush in this car. Helps if you know the road, but tons'o'fun.

HWY 9 between San Jose and Santa Cruz. 26 miles of turns through wooded mountain.

Also, the road up to the top of the Mount Hamilton in San Jose. Not for the faint of hart.

Lime Creek Road in Austin is the best we have around here in Texas. A lot of fun, but kind of short.

The road to Hana in Maui Hawaii. 600 plus turns, 50+ bridges and some of the most breathtaking scenery on earth. I have driven this road 4 times, twice in a jeep wrangler, once in a chrysler LHS and once in a PT cruiser. (all rental cars). i would love to drive my S down this road, unfortunately i don't live in Hawaii anymore, instead i live in cold, rainy ass western Washington.

I'm pretty sure the much lower cost of living more than makes up for it!

No more gas at almost or over $3 a gallon. Washington state is also not very bad, and is very scenic if you getaway from the coast and big cities filled with the Cali's who have been invading parts of the western coast of Washington lately.

For twisties and sheer beauty:

Pacific Coast Highway between Carmel and Big Sur.

For speed:

Highway 280 between San Francisco and San Jose. It's the frickin' Autobahn of the Bay Area. 5-6 lanes of speed and great views to boot.

Without question: Chaukanut Drive, between Arlington and Bellingham along the very twisty, turny, ragged coast of the Puget Sound, appx. 1 1/2 hours north of Seattle. The view of the Sound is breathtaking (when you're not white nuckling it through the twisties). It simply beautiful.
