S2, you are my hero.

So for AP2s, 4.77 wins for both 1/4 mile and 0-60 sprints despite the extra shifts?

yeah, with the 0-60, even stock gearing requires a shift to 3rd. with distance, 4.77 wins for ap1 and ap2. it's a matter of getting ahead and staying ahead, even though there are brief instances where it might be at a slower speed. distance is an integral of velocity, so instantaneous velocity doesn't tell the story. for example, with ap1, 4.77 isn't the fastest to 60mph, but it will be ahead of the others.

If its cool with S2-3456789-K, I will post up the graphs for my turbocharged AP1 s2k (w/9000rpm redline) comparing the different gear ratios.

go for it. if it's close to 300whp, i'd like to see how it compares to the SC'ed ap1.

Ok here are the graphs with my turbo numbers

With these graphs, the myth about gears be detremental and hi powered turbo cars can hopefully be put to rest.

LOL. I'd like to think that this thread would put an end to many of the myths and associated BS, but I'm skeptical.

Inlinepro GT35R,18psi hi-boost setting (dyno was on a hot and humid summer day), afraid to launch

I had to kinda fudge the numbers under 4200rpms (as thats where my dyno plot starts)
