Default Fenderwell trim

How many of your S2000's have the inner fenderwell trim (black plastic inside the wheelwell) coming off in places? 1/4 inch, 1/2 inch, what? I need to know what is common on the piece of the car over several years. I wasn't happy with the original piece so I'm trying to have the dealer replace it on one side where it's kind of hanging off in between mounting screws, probably 1/4" hanging off, which is unacceptable to me.

Please help me out here

Nice rims.

Look on the inside of your wheel, the wheel well to be exact. You should have this black plastic piece clipped to the wheel well, all the way around the tire. That is what I'm talking about you asshat

I had half inch pieces broken off on both sides on my brand new S within the first month.

I have seen the fender liner become "wavy" or "bulge" out on a couple local S2000's. Is that what you are talking about ?

Not my other Hondas (not that I noticed anyway, I'll check the Accord when the wife gets home) but to answer Tommys question, YES. Almost like it could use another mounting point or something. My front ones have even cracked near the screws (not the plastic clips).

also right at the top of the fender where the liner meets it seems to be separating.

My trim is shoved about the fender tabs and the whole inside edge of fender and fender tabs are rolled up. Nice and snug.
