Few S2K questions
1.) At around 60mph with my top up, the wind noise gets REALLY loud. I think my top isn't sealing good at the front. When I pull the front of my top down the noise goes away. Any way I can tighten the clamps that lock it down? Or maybe add some weather stripping to it?
2.) I know you can turn the radio on and change from AM to FM to CD from the button on the left of the steering wheel, but why doesn't it/can I make it turn the radio off from that button?
3.) While daily driving, what rpm do you generally shift at?

2/ i cant on my car, but the 06 stereo may be different. i just mute it.
3/ 3.5-4.5k is typical for me, but mine redlines at 8k, not 9k. i'd probably shift at about 4.5-5k with an ap1 just to get more power.

on my 07, if I hold the little volume bar downward long enough it "Beeps" after 3-5 seconds and then the radio is off, I found that I was muting it most of the time. Now I finally have no radio since my radio had a problem and would come on every now and then even though I had it turned off. Dealership is going to replace the radio but its been 3 weeks with the radio out and I am finding I like it and could make a cool little space to store change, etc.
AFTER (note the CAPS) AFTER its warmed up, I shift between 5,000 and 5,000 RPM always unless going into VTEC, I come from the world of Italian high revving toys where the motor is designed to spin about 60% of its redline, with my S having a 8,000RPM redline that means I keep it at 4,000-4,500 at all times, I have to shift above 5k to keep it there. The one exception is long distances on the freeway, I go into 6th and let it spin slower for better mileage and motor longevity.
