If you choose caulk , spare no expense and get the top quality outdoor caulk for $2 instead of $1 regular bathroom stuff. Silicone should hold up and not yellow. Both my clear and my brother's black are doing fine after a year on.
The film stuff? I think its going to be like $10. Its going on the lower side sill between the door and the rear wheel. They put it on the left side when they fixed my paint blister (finally), so I'm getting it installed on the right side just to even it up.
