Default Final Gears

Are there qualitydiff on them?
Some are up over 1k$ and some are around 500$.
Are most of them miata once or?
Seen that inlinepro uses 300zx ( or was that only diffhouse? ) but otherwise i cant tell the differences on them.

Now for the experts

read elsewhere that kia's and miata's use the same gears and they can be had for around $300.

I just picked up the mazda gears 4.44 and am having them cryo treated I should be getting them back by the first part of next week and then to have them installed. I pulled the diff myself it is very easy you can save a bunch of money if you can do it yourself. You can get the 4.44 from racing beat for 450.00.

I am looking into the Kia gears (4.77) from a salvage yard less than $100! I just need to see if 4 x 4 are the same as 2wd on the sportages.

Buyer beware go the cheap route and get big expensive fix when go boom! Not wise to put in used gears. To each there own.

Do my 4.56's make noise? YES they will make a very faint whine around 3500-4000 rpm. Most people won't be able to hear it over the exhuast or radio.
Er? Can you explain how rpms have anything to do with anything?
