boy oh boy! i think i'll go for a drive!!! i consider my self lucky but i work for my own things. i'm 21 and i have a car that some people can only dream of driving....that i am fortunate about. i'm also scared of the car because i respect it so much, just like my bike. always take precautions.

Hey Nero, I was in your situation 3 years ago. I bought my first car at 17, a 98 prelude. Then I worked my ass off for three years and just bought my 02 s2k in february this year. You sound like i did, ridiculous obsession (although warranted). I talked about the car so much it drove my friends and family crazy. But anyways, for some inspiration, get to work , and start saving money, and you can have that car in a few years, trust me it's well worth the hard work, I am still obsessed with my car good luck

Man...I can definitely relate to this. This is exactly the way I am. My best friend avoided me the day I drove it because he knew I'd just be talking about it constantly. I talk to anyone who will listen to me about this beautiful car. I'm in college now so it's draining my money, but I'm hoping that by the time I get into med school I'll be able to at least lease an S. I know there are faster, better performing cars...but something about the S2000 just makes me fall in love with it over and over again.

Join the club, there's a lot of us with your particular disease. I'm 30, lusted after the S2k since it's first shots in 98/99. Drove my wife crazy talking about one. During the 3rd test drive (just because on a Sat. afternoon) she said "lets just get it you won't ever be happy till you do".

Had the car more than a year now and it's fun factor just doesn't seem to go away.

Good luck

I wanted the S since 99 also. When I had my GSR for 4.5 years, I started thinking about a replacement. I knew I wanted the S, and it was more than I expected. I bought the 01 model...may have paid a grand too much for it, but I love it.
