Anyone have law enforcement problems with either exhaust? I've driven some pretty loud cars and avoided tickets with a combination of common sense and low rpm driving when needed. Is it possible to keep a clean record with this exhaust, or does it scream "pull me over"?

i run 3" exhaust with no muffler on my vw, so im used to loud. no problems with cops, either. lots and lots of low end torque though, so i can keep it below 2500 if i need to. sorta nervous about a loud exhaust an S, though.

70rr doesnt sound ricey? does it sound similar to the j's clip on s2000library?

edit: brent, exhaust tickets dont go on your record. at least in california they are just fix it tickets.

lots of folks, including myself, have been pulled for having this exhaust...it sure is awesome for a non daily-driven car though!

I run the Invidia with a test pipe. It's perfect. The test pipe remove 95+% of the drone.

With the silencers in, it's aggressive sounding, but not outrageously loud. It's nothing that you'd get pulled over for here.

With the silencers out, it sounds amazing. Words, and video clips cannot describe the sound. Although I definately watch out for the cops when the silencers are out.

Monday through Friday I drive around with the silencers in. This is mainly because I leave my house at 5:00 AM and don't want wake up the neighborhood. On the weekends I run without them.

I have the 70rr single w/test pipe and it sounds freakin sweet. Its so hard to keep it under 6000 rpm. My bro has a 350z with dual titanium hks exhausts and I use to love the way his car sounded but he definitley digs my exhaust over his.

Ricey my ass!
I've had mine on since the beginning of April. It's not as loud as some may think. Mine is tolerable after I added a 90deg. resonator pipe the same as the stock Honda exhaust. ( never did drive it before the mod) I've heard a my03 without the
added pipe and it's very Ferrari-ish sounding, as is mine.
I think it's a better bargain than Comptech or some of the other dual exhaust systems out there. Nearly 28lbs lighter than stock too.
