Really based on what info. I have never seen definitive rates published. They seemed to change about every two years or so. I would like to see someone get them measured. Would be nice to know.

MY00-01 = 218/291
MY02-03 = 240/230
MY04-07 = 256/207
MY08-UP = 274/225
MY08 CR = 375/264
Patinum is right....Spinning out is a learning process. Good to experience it so you are able to learn to control it. Also, a good way to find out the limit is to go past it in a controlled environment.
MY 2000-2001 are the most prone to snap oversteer due to the rear springs being significantly stiffer than the front springs and a stiffer rear swaybar.
The 04+ suspension geometry was redesigned to produce more understeer(which is more controllable to the average driver).

I didn't appreciate that the rear springs in an 00-01 were stiffer than the fronts.
Thanks!
Those numbers are a good guess based on percentages from info honda has published based on new model changes, I thought there was some conflicting info for the 04-07 models doesn't follow there change thats been on a 2 year cycle year over year. Those numbers I thought were for 04-05 MY. Still not good info in my opinion.

People who complain about snap over steer are people who can't drive.
It's not an uncontrollable issue, it's just more pronounced than most other cars.
You werent pushing your car hard enough at all. I have a 2007 and have had the snap oversteer happen to me as well. I wasnt ready for it, thats probably what made it worse for me on the first time it happened...
On the track I found when it snaps back to center after sliding, it felt like it snapped my whole body around it came back violently.

so even though the s2k might be know for over steer part of it may be the stock tires.
i am not Lewis Hamilton and i am not getting paid to track cars so i only push as far as i feel comfortable doing. in the slower corners i definitely pushed to the limit. in the higher speed corners, probably 80%. At the track there is a thin line between having fun and unnecessary stress.... i go with the former. either way it is a fantastic track day car and feels lighter and more responsive with the vsa off.

I don't want to discourage you, just let you know that as you gain experience you will re-define those limits.10 track days later, what felt like pushing the car 110% of what I could handle as a driver, was around 75% of the capacity of the car.
That 25% increase was due to memorizing the track, having better brakes (not because they brake more, but because they were more consistent) and driver input (steering, throttle and brake). Those factors allowed me to perform smoother transitions which then allow the car to be faster.

Are you so well versed in driving that you can handle all different car configurations in a corner? You just know the handling characteristics? People who can drive spin 911's every single day...doesn't mean that they don't swap ends if you hit the brakes too late in a corner.
