i am not refusing any ideas...

don't you guys understand? I don't know any places that can solve the problem on my engine if there is any...

even if i dyno the car, and get 190 whp, what next?? who will know where the problem is coming from.

my questions about putting some more parts are completely different. what i mean is after i get the dyno and if i can solve the problems, the parts that i already have plus the ones i am planning to get, will i reach 230 whp?? I am not trying to say if my car is down on power, i will make some mods to close the gap.

I am not trying to ignore anybody's ideas. i appriciate it but since i am not the expert at these stuff, you shouldn't comment at the questions i ask...

Dude, do yourself a favor and have your car checked out! "Bolting" something on your car (especially if it isn't running correctly) is not going to solve your problem.

Please go back and reread your thread. Good luck!

I don't think you understand. the point that everyone is trying to make is that, why spend all this extra money on your car and then dyno it only to find out that it is down on power?

if you are making 190 whp now, you WILL NOT make 230 whp with those mods you plan on adding.

say you make 210 with all those mods, you will still need to find out what is wrong with your car, so why not make sure your car is actually running properly before blowing money on mods?

what if you got it dyno-ed and checked out right now.. and found that the problem was a spark plug.. then it fixed your power problems? would you still need to spend the extra money to get 230whp? the gears should be a huuuuge difference in terms of acceleration. I agree with most people that either you don't know how to drive, or your car is messed up. I'll tend towards the latter, as you say you've gone to racing school.

save yourself a lot of money and aggravation by just checking it out right now, don't be lazy.

If you dyno low on power, it tells us a lot. It tells us that there IS a problem with the car that needs addressed. It won't tell you exactly what is wrong, but at least you'll know there is a problem that you need to look into or have someone look into for you.

Of all your mods the only one that will show on the dyno will be the test pipe. Take that off and you can get a pretty good baseline. Some cars dyno 190 hp stock and that is NORMAL. Then start adding your mods if you want. 230 whp is very difficult without FI. Also remember to use the same dyno, operator, conditions, if possible. That way you can get a good comparison.

If all that doesn't work throw in some NOS and you can beat your buddy.

From this point on....

This thread should be in chronological order. We apologize for the inconvenience.
