following your logic, all planes copied the wright flyer, and all cars copied the first car (and don't tell me the first car was a ford )

No no, what I mean is that 350Z owners are now starting to replace their longer OEM antenna mast with the S2000 one, for more visual appeal I guess... which may lead to more antenna theft.

The base is a remnant of the OEM 350Z antenna.

Somehow, our "rubber ducky" antenna just looks odd on the Z. Sorta looks like an alien parasite has invaded the body of the car and the thing we see is its breathing appendage. (Yeah, I know, I watch too much Star Trek.)
