Hum if you can just replace the window form honda for 175 I think that kinda beats the glass window cause you have the nice bug view instead of the smaller window.

It looks like from the description on the TSB that the window must be riveted in. It also calls for taking out the seats and roll bars. So, it's more involved than just zipping it into place. I'll probably call around to some convertible top places on labor costs.

The temp doesn't need to be that low. It was in the low 40's when I put my top up. The real learning point is that the best way to prevent this is probably regular cleaning and conditioning of the plastic to keep it soft and pliable...or get a glass window.

I had an '00 that got broken into by someone who cut the rear window.

I got the part from Honda for about $175 and did the work myself. And yes, you do have to basically got the interior to put it in. It is not a simple 10 minute zipper job. It takes about 3 hours. to do.

When I last tried to clean the window I considered unzipping it and taking it out. After 30 minutes of head scratching (being a dumn ass) I decided to leave it alone. There is some velcro on the flaps too but I was finding that the velcro was coming away from the material. I decided to clean it the hard way but I am sure it would all come out with a bit of arm power.
