hey thanks alot man~!!!! i just ordered the key blank. since i have an ap1 i think this will work with mine. not bad for 10 bucks! thanks!

I'm assuming you have your ecu imobolizer disabled as well?

just tryed the ebay method above. it worked. but honestly, i couldnt get the battery to be consistent with the whole fob. everytime the battery would shift inside and it would not sit perfectly on to the motherboard. oh how i miss my old tl switchblade....

Yeah, I had similar issues. I bought a set of small felt pads and lined the inside of the case with them. Basically the case is missing the proper supports to hold the keypad up. My pads are similar (albeit much smaller) to these: Felt Pads.

i see what you did. so you put these on the back of the buttons? i noticed the same thing. but have you had battery connecting issues after though? im thinking of ordering another key (i ruined the cutting part. f lowes lol) and trying it again.

can anyone elaborate on getting the transponder out of the oem key?

i dont want to ruin that beast by dremeling in the wrong spot.
