Default folding bike in the trunk?

I'd like to take a bike with me in the s2000, and the folding bikes can get pretty compact, but with our small trunks, has anyone been successful in getting one in the S?

Interesting stuff!

(Disclaimer: I have no idea if that bike ever went to production. It's just a very cool looking design.)

I used to be able to fit Tiburon trunk pretty easily just removing the front wheel. Haven't tried in my S2000 though, but I feel like my S2000 has more room.

I'm able to fit a Moutain Equipment Coop MEC Origami Folding Bike into the trunk with the jack tools removed. The trunk will not close so I still have to tie it down with a bungy. I believe my bike is the same size as a Dahon P7/P8

I have an older Dahon that fits in the trunk with the lid closed. It doesn't have folding pedals, so it has to be positioned just right.

I researched this a while ago. Brompton bikes fit easily.

I would play around with taking out the spare as well.
I have fit some things that were substantially bigger with that extra space.
