I have owned an sti and currently own a S2000. Luckly for me neither were daily drivers as, both let in to much road noise for my taste. As for which one is better..... I personally prefer the S2000. It's a much more rewarding car to drive. Some compare it to a go cart, and I would agree. As for the lack of torque, I don't notice it, and my daily driver is a 5 series with a V8, and the wife has a sc grandprix.
hey if she doesnt mind driveing that peace of poo-poo than its all good

This is her third GP. Last one lasted 170k miles with no break downs or repairs. I mean nothing.... I tried to push the TL on her, but she wanted another GP, which I guess allowed me to fit the S into the budget as well....

How manny miles with a full tank does your s2k do??? Cause the best i've gotten is 220 miles with 93 octane, and this car fills up with $37 at $3.29 a gallon (they have tine gas tanks
) i fill her up every 3-4 days

Everything depends where all your priorities are:
answer this:
1) How much do you plan on modding the car? The STi as you know, is pretty easy to mod while as the S2k is harder to get some power out of the n/a engine unless you go with Force Induction. Mods cost more on the s2k and you have to spend a few more on bigger wheels for more grip (since you will have more power) and new rear tires every 6 months or so.
2) What do you do with the car besides daily driving it? Do you autox it? Do you drag it?
3) The s2k wins the fun to drive factor around curves, straightline-wise, it's the STi, unless of coarse, you got a supercharger, then it would be pretty close...if the s2k has a turbo, the STi is going to struggle to keep up...not to mention if it has a 2jz swap.
4) do you REALLY need the extra 2 seats and trunk space?
just keep askin yourself questions until you know what you want.

A supercharged S2000 should gobble up a stock STI (I used to be supercharged). A turbo S2000 would embarrass one. You don't need wider rims with more power, I had no problems with a Vortech supercharger and 4.77 final gear on OEM rims.
and who is doing 2jz swaps now anyways? I thought they only did that like twice and it fell apart.

anyways, there's a few people that have done 2jz swap..there's a member I know in this forum. go to the street encounter section.
as far as wider tires, well, I'll leave all that to you. I much rather have better grip anyways, especially when you're putting around 300 down. Why did you go back to n/a anyways?
