Friendly Advice for Fellow Modders....
....please consider an aftermkt. clutch/flywheel as one of your first mods! I know a lot of folks immediately assume intake/header/exhaust, but the clutch and flywheel is perhaps one of the most 'feelable' mods you can do to the S2K! The clutch enables more direct/immediate transfer to the wheels, and the flywheel helps us get to the Promised Land (VTEC) faster, cuz let's face it, we live and die in VTEC!

Especially for the 00/01 folks who have not done their TSB's yet and are considering upgrading to aftermkt parts -- you'll save a bundle in installation by getting Honda to swap your stock clutch/flywheel with aftermkt. parts. That's the position I'm in right now as I'm getting the TSB done this Friday!
As for what clutch/flywheel to go with -- there's tons of threads that have discussed. Personally, I'm gonna go with Spoon for both as I've heard the Toda flywheel is "too light", and will cause a certain amt. of torque loss especially up-hill.
Anyways -- just my 2 cents!

Total agreement shamu! That's good advice man. As for "dropping the clutch" I don't think i'm ever going to rev to 7500, put the edge of my foot on the clutch, sidestep it, and just let it slam back. I don't see how people can do this to their car
There's a proper way to launch aggressively off the line, and that's definitely not it.
