Sime/Utah, the problem I am experiencing (and I think Poordog too) is not reduced by moving the seat forward or fastening the seatbelt. As a matter of fact moving the seat forward INCREASES the problem as the seat back can then shake backwards and forwards without anything preventing it (the proximity to the roll hoop in the seat's rearward postion actually stops the resonance building in frequency).

Fastening the seatbelt has no impact as it is not tight enough against the seat to prevent the resonance either.

My only guaranteed solution is to carry a passenger

Ha! I used to do that with my old roadster for the same reasons. Had a couple funny experiences where passengers would try to get in the car expecting a seat was there. (If you've ever seen someone have a chair pulled out from under them while they were moving to sit down then you know what I'm talking about).

Thanks for all the info. I moved the seat up and all is well, though still disconcerting. Great web site to whoever created it, by the way.
