I'm surprised the Corvette is on that list. I always thought the Corvette gets horrible real-world mileage.

Not unless you got the pedal mashed the entire time. Otherwise the Corvette can turn 30+ MPG. Those damn LS1/2 engines loaf on the highway, i'm talking a friggin idle at 80mph.
