1/4 Tank is the lowest I ever go. Usually at the half tank mark I start thinking about when I can fill up.

Walbros don't like running low on fuel

My Ef hatch does the same thing with the gas gauge.Once it gets past a 1/2 of a tank, fugadeaboutit. You hit the gas from a stop sign and you lost almost a quarter tank. But it does go back up though..Over 350 miles to a tank...The perfect commuter car...

I've driven 25 miles with the gas light on. Filled up at 11.4 that day

I usually fill up with 1-3 bars left or when the gas light comes on.

I hear this is a regular thing with Honda's but havent ever experienced this on my S when the tank is real low.
This is based on my current beater Civic, previous Civic and 3 other various MY Accord's of my various family members.
My Accords and Prelude were the same way- even the old '81 CVCC hatch that my mom drove was that way. I've always just chalked it up to an idiosyncrasy unique to Hondas.

I usually fill up when the tank is 1/2 empty, or is it 1/2 full?

Fuel Level, How low do you let it get?
Ran completely out once. Don't recommend it. Don't trust those last few bars or even what's supposedly left at no bars.

In the 9 seasons I've had the S I think I've only seen the light come on 3 or 4 times.

I've run to NONE bars left and still made to a gas station.

No, there's no harm in running low on fuel.
