Don't do it. Keep full insurance. I had liability on my car in college and taking the gf home one night we hit a deer and totaled the car...and I was simply out of a car. Ended up selling what was left for about $1000, which is barely a down payment. Highly regretted being cheap about it after that.

If you have the capital to go to repair or replace S2K after you wreck or total the car then liability is the way to go. Pretty sure if the car is worth more than 7k it's better to keep it with full coverage. Betting that they are still worth more than that.
