My gas light came on last night at about 250... Stock w/ top down, and I was in the VTEC no less than 50 times; probably more... Had a passenger (about 110lbs) as well.

Just got back from filling up after I had NO lines left on the gauge. My final numbers with a full tank.......

368.7! That's city and highway.

A week and a day or two ago I filled her up to 13.8 gallons and today I filled her up with 12.1. lets see how many I get this time around.

wow!

you get close to driving with fume.

The miles you are posting are extremely impressive.

I only get around 20miles per gallon. I don't Vtec much, but I drive consistantly in the 4-5K range. Also my commute to work is only 6 miles each way.

I wish I was more in the 24 mpg range.

Do you think it's the short distance driving?
I think driving between 4-5K would reduce the gas milege. That seems to be the sweet spot. In 3rd and 4th gear.

I absolutely hate how unreliable the gas gauge is in that last quarter tank. It seems as if it goes from maybe 4 bars to 1 in a matter of 20 miles or less... and that's not under hard driving either.

But I'm usually getting between 220 and 240 miles per tank, and I put in about 10.5 gallons every fill up. Although I just took a trip this weekend and have a little less than half a tank with a little over 200mi on the odometer right now. All highway.

How many miles do you clock from a tank of gas? I'm getting about 250.
If you do it right you get about 100mi out of a tank of gas. Any MORE than that, and you are just not trying hard enough.

I usually get about 16 mpg. I live downtown and work there, so it's always stop and vtec for me.

200-210 like clockwork. But my daily route is 8 miles with 30+ traffic lights and stop signs along the way. Top is always down.
