Default funny thing??????

this is if anybody understands this cos I don't.
I got news from my dealer that there was un upgrade spark plug kit for the car and he ordered it.I said ok .
then when he got them they were about 120 Euro 4 of them and I bought them.ok. I wanted to see the markings on them and they were the same like in manual(NGK). So I thought it was a prank that my dealer did but I wanted to take out the original ones in the car to see them.
Guess what 3 of them were NGK with lower heat symbol (5) and belive or not one was denso that matches the NGK from the manual.
I don't think that they would put deferent spark plugs in the factory and I asked the dealer if my car was touched before I got it.He said no?And he would ask by mail in japan. And there is no answer from him.
But there is something funny, before I bought it nov 2001,it was in the saloon from April 2000 when was the car show and they showed it.
Rumor was that they couldn't start the car when the show ended and they couldn't do it for two days.I had this in mind when I bought the car and I said to my self hell I don't give a fcuk if the car starts and goes extra then its ok,after all its under warranty for 3years and 100000km.
Also the manager said that they were the first that got the car on the balkan. If anybody wants to know I'm from Macedonia,Skopje. and I still have the only S 2000 here.

You should NOT have had to pay for them. They are on a "recall" and all such work is free. At least everyone here in N. America has gotten both the plugs and the labour to put them in for free and I'm pretty sure all European owners get this for free too. You've been "had".
Also, they would not put different plugs in the same engine at the factory. Someone has done this and was just too cheap to replace all of them so they only did one. I don't think this had hurt the car but there is no guarantee of this.

The new plugs on the recall have a stainless steel crush ring and the whole plug has a new and higher torque setting for installation - 18 foot #s.

Honda put one of two types of "stock" plugs in these cars. Both are/were platinum as are the new ones.
The old plugs were:
NGK: PFR7G-11
DENSO: PK22PR-L11

The new replacement ones are:
NGK: PFR7G-11S
DENSO: PK22PR-L11S
(and the new torque for them is 18Ft#s.

The "S" designates a stainless steel crush ring.
