G Tech (HELP)
Okay guys...call me cheap, but i lost the manual for my G-Tech and i've been dying to 1/4 and 0-60/bhp my car. Can any of you run through the adjustment for me? Take a picture of the relavant pages in the manual. The G-Tech people want $20 for the damn manual aaaannnnnd, i have to wait up to 10 days.
Here are the simple instructions, not from the book, but from my head:
Turn the GTech on by moving the slider to the center position from the right (off) position.
The GTech will start flashing between two "words", "Accel" and "GForc" - or something.
When it says "Accel" push the button, the same button that you used to turn on the device.
The Gtech will now show a number, with or without a negative sign next to it.
You now have to align the Gtech, up or down so that it reads either 0.0, 0.1, or -0.1. When it reads one of these three readings push the button again.
The GTech will now blink " - GO - ". And you start to get really nervous for some reason. You can wait as long as you want to launch, but then you'll just get more nervous.
Rev it up and drop that clutch!!!! My best Gtech time with all stock except cool air intake was 5.44. I turned many, many 6.x times - launching the car at the right RPM makes all the difference, unfortunately.
After I added the supercharger I was able to turn 5.4 times consistently with BAD launches, 5.1 with a "decent" launch - but I still think I / the car can do better.

Sev mentioned something important. If you go past 200 feet, I think, and are above 60MPH it will assume that you're doing a 1/4 mile run. Sometimes this happens to me, I come all the way to a stop, expecting to see my time - but it's sitting there waiting for me to finish my 1/4 mile.
I haven't done the HP, will have to look that up.
