Gas Mileage
i go about 250-270 miles until the bars go out and then by then, i can only fill with 11.x gallons. the manual says 13.2 but ive never even filled up with 12 gallons. i dont want to find out how long i can actually last but if anyone out there has tried it... chime in.
i think i average about 21-24mpg.
how about you guys?

I average about 25mpg. I usually fillup at 250 miles with a couple bars left and rarely put in more than 10-10.5 gallons. I don't want to find out just how far I can go and then have to do this
on the side of the road!

i average between 21-25mpg...depending on how i drive...the most gas i put in on a empty tank is about 10.8 gallons...on a road trip on all highway i hit 33mpg..it was great...but all i can say to get the best mpg is to stay out of vtec...drive like granny on the cruise control at 65mph and u will have soem good milage...just try not to hit vtec for a week and see the results..
after 10K on the car, I get between 23.5 to 27.8 mpg per tank. Really depends on how heavy the right foot is. I have noticed a minor (like -1.5mpg) difference since the weather cooled off.

I usually get between the low 20's (local roads) & the upper 20's (highways) when I don't VTEC.
When I do I'm having too much fun to care!
Alot of owners claim a 60 mile range when the low fuel light first comes on. Reset your "b" trip meter to keep an eye on it. Don't push it too far unless...........
.......you are prepared. I ALWAYS take my new cars out and drive until I drain the tank and run out. It is the only sure way to "read" your individual gauge. Some peoples gauges read high, while others never show full - so there is no standard by looking at the gauge. Learn your car's capabilities (driving range in this case) to become an even better car owner/driver.
And yes, I know the argument that you shouldn't run a fuel injected car empty of gas as you may pick up some crud in the bottom of the tank and you may need to "prime" the system again.
Well, notice I said I do this to all my NEW cars. Hence no crud in tank yet.
As for the "priming", I call BS there. I've started ALL my injected cars right up after running out.

I only do city driving 95% of the time. This sucks....My Bimmer gave me better fuel economy.
