Well, all I had to do was while the headlights on, press and hold the (+) sign on the digital cluster that we have for about 2 seconds, then it goes back to the same brightness as if the headlights weren't on. To go back, press (-) button for 2 seconds.

just learned this neat trick, i was always having a hard time using head lights in mountian driving in the afternoon where some part of mountain have bright sun and some with shade.

doesnt it tell you how to do that ON the cluster itself? It at least tells you to hold the button in again to cancel the brightness right? I'm a few thousand miles from my car right now but that's what that "hold cancel" is referring to on the cluster isnt it?

a little off topic but what was the other little trick with the window defroster on with out the AC being on? ive seen it somewhere on this forum
