I think AP1s revert themselves to a "default" setting everytime you start the car up.. or so I think Ive read on S2ki.

I wouldn't know, I drive an AP2 and my cluster is always on bright, day/night.

Some us dont have the owner's manual. I bought mine used and dont want to spend $50 on a book

No AP1 owners chiming in yet? Does the AP1 instrument cluster revert back a "default" brightness after turning the car off and back on..?
