Gear Selection and Use
I paid for 6 gears so I'm using 6 gears.
I'm shifting up to 6th as soon as possible and stay in there as long as possible on my daily commute.
Coming up to a traffic light that is red while I know its turning green soon (because I know the sequence) I try not to shift back, when it does turn green I just go easy on the throttle and the car picks up nicely in 6th from 40 km/h.
The 4.57's make it a bit better I have to admit.

I guess it all boils down to driving style... Right?

I don't worry about which gear I'm in, but rather concern myself with what part of the (engines) power band I'm in and what I'm doing.
If the torque you need is on tap when you need it, then you're in the right gear.
