It also has the "2" "5" and "8" as distinct images (in other words, you coult take "2", "5" and "8" from the speedo and construct the "258"

 

yeah, i figured that too when i tried to save it , but alot of pics are like that on the web, just for web design purposes. the revs seem to be about right too. it is also a german site and in germany they have the autobahns barn? anyway so he could theoretically be doing that...i guess we'll never know....

 

Does anybody know the speed in each gear when VTEC kicks in? This would be a convienient thing to know if you suddenly find yourself in a situation where you need to downshift and get the maximum accelleration...you know in the case of an "emergency" or something.

 

VTEC kicks in at 6000 revs. Therefore at 6000 revs:
1st = 46km/h
2nd = 70km/h
3rd = 96km/h
4th = 124km/h
5th = 149km/h
6th = 177km/h

 

Top speed in 6th is 172.2 at the limiter, unless you have an ECU that bumps the limiter a bit, like the Amuse (9,500). My car took forever to get to 161 and I don't see any way it would go 172...unless there was no wind, a glass smooth road, and it was runnin' on fumes.
