gearbox
so i just picked up my s2000. its been my dream car since i was 14. for the record im only 18 so it really hasnt been that long. anyway, i hear it has one of the best gearboxes for a japanese car. when im redlining first and go into second it requires a nice solid tug to get her in gear. and all the other gears need a good tug too and it gets harder as i get closer to the redline. is this normal. ps i used to drive a sentra so dont know what a sports car is suppose to feel like.
Did you change the tranny fluids after you bought the car? If your hitting the redline the car should be pretty hot and the gears should be sliding in without hestation. After redlining my s2k up a bit, my gearbox becomes super smooth.
