Gearbox in cold weather
I just got an s2000 a month ago. It's a second car, so I usually only drive it when it's nice out. The other day I left my friends house, and let the engine warm up for a bit before I left. It was about 20 degrees out and when I was shifting gears, it felt very clunky. There wasn't any grinding or horrible noises... but it almost felt like I was banging into something sometimes going from gear to gear. I've noticed this before in 50 degree weather, but it usually went away after a few miles. I definitely had the clutch pushed in all the way each time. The cars got 60k miles on it, my grandfather had it before me.
Should I go have this checked out? Any ideas what could be causing this? I haven't been driving it hard, I've been taking it real easy since it's my first stick.

try double clutching...i do it for the first mile or few stop signs when my car leaves the driveway cold. also don't shift mad quick (give the tranny time to synchronize by holding the clutch in a half a second longer - also cures the 1st gear clunk from a stop); unlike my integras i dont think this car likes it at all. i tend to think a majority of s2k owners slam the shifter into gear like it was a civic. at least until it is warmed up
if i do these things, the car shifts like butter every time cold or warm.
and try changing the tranny fluid to amsoil or gm synchromesh.

Thanks for the advice guys. I have a list of things I want to do being an '05 with 60k miles. Air Cleaner Element, Transmission Fluid, Rear Diff. Fluid, and Brake Fluid. So I'll prob take it in and have it all done in one visit.
